CITY OF LINO LAKES RESOLUTION NO. 19-36 AWARD CONTRACTS FOR ARENA ACRES PARK PROJECT <br />WHEREAS, the City Council authorized staff to proceed with the construction of a <br />tennis court at Arena Acres Park during the October 1, 2018 City Council work session; and WHEREAS, this project is divided into two parts – Site Improvements (earthwork, <br />aggregate, court and trail paving, court painting/striping), and Fencing; and <br /> WHEREAS, quotes were received on March 12, 2019 as follows: SITE IMPROVEMENTS <br />CONTRACTOR TOTAL BID <br />Midwest Asphalt $70,487.10 <br />Bituminous Roadways $71,276.90 <br />Barber Construction $85,569.00 <br />New Look Contracting $91,850.01 <br /> FENCING <br /> <br />CONTRACTOR TOTAL BID <br />Century Fence $16,174.80 <br />Peterson Companies $16,920.00 <br />Midwest Fence $17,586.00 <br /> WHEREAS, the low site improvements bid was submitted by Midwest Asphalt in the amount of $70,487.10, and the low fencing bid was submitted by Century Fence in the amount of $16,174.80; and <br /> WHEREAS, funding is from the Park and Trail Improvement Fund. NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED the City Council hereby authorizes staff to enter into contracts with Midwest Asphalt and Century Fence for the Arena Acres Park Project. <br /> <br />Adopted by the Council of the City of Lino Lakes this 25th day of March, 2019.
