Consider 2nd Reading of Ordinance No. 3-19, Amending Chapter 205 of the City 61 Code; ii. Consider Resolution No. 19-38, Approving a Summary of Ordinance No. 3-19 for 62 Publication Administrator Karlson reviewed the proposed changes: 63 - Strike language that exempts the Public Safety Director as a direct report to the City 64 Administrator; 65 - Exclude “temporary” employees from needing council approval for hire. 66 Council Member Maher moved to waive the full reading of Ordinance No. 03-19. Council Member 67 Stoesz seconded the motion. Motion carried on a voice vote. 68 Council Member Maher moved to approve the 2nd Reading and passage of Ordinance No. 03-19 as 69 presented. Council Member Stoesz seconded the motion. Motion carried: Yeas, 5; Nays none. 70 Council Member Maher moved to approve Resolution No. 19-38 as presented. Consider 73 Resolution No. 19-39, Approving a Summary of Ordinance No. 4-19 for Publication – 74 Administrator Karlson explained that this is a minor change, amending language certain language 75 relating to the Human Resources Department. 76 Council Member Maher moved to waive the full reading of Ordinance No. 04-19. Council Member 77 Rafferty seconded the motion. Motion carried on a voice vote. 78 Council Member Rafferty moved to approve the 2nd Reading and passage of Ordinance No. 04-19 as 79 presented.
