CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 19-58 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION PROVIDING FUNDING FOR RICE LAKE ELEMENTARY SCHOOL <br />PLAYGROUND EQUIPMENT PROJECT <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council approved Resolution No. 19-47 to provide financial contributions to School <br />Districts for playground structures located within the city limits; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Centennial School District is requesting City Council consideration in the amount of <br />$20,000 for the installation of new playground equipment at Rice Lake Elementary School; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Centennial School District has committed $40,000 and additional funds in excess of <br />$22,000 have been raised; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the $20,000 City of Lino Lakes contribution will help this project become a reality and be <br />enjoyed by students and the community for the next several years. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Lino Lakes approves a <br />contribution in the amount of $20,000 for the Rice Lake Elementary School Playground Equipment <br />Project. Funding is from the Dedicated Parks Fund. <br /> <br />Adopted by the City Council of the City of Lino Lakes this 13th day of May 2019. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was introduced by Council Member <br />_______________and was duly seconded by Council Member ________________ and upon vote being <br />taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />The following voted against same: <br /> <br /> <br />_______________________________ <br />Jeff Reinert, Mayor <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />______________________ <br />Julianne Bartell, City Clerk
