Motion carried on a voice vote. 144 <br /> 145 <br />6B) Rice Creek Watershed District 2019 Urban Remediation Cost-Share Program: i. 146 <br />Consider Resolution 19-56, Accepting Irrigation Control Replacement Grant; ii. Consider 147 <br />Resolution No. 19-57, Accepting Century Farm North, Stormwater Reuse Study Grant – 148 <br />Community Development Director Grochala reviewed the written staff report requesting council 149 <br />authorization to enter into two grant agreements with the Rice Creek Watershed District (RCWD). 150 <br />The City is proposing to utilize the grant funds to reduce water use for: a) irrigation (city owned 151 <br />facilities and three townhomes developments) through installation of controller replacement; and b) 152 <br />conduct a feasibility study for the Century Farms North development exploring the use of stormwater 153 <br />to offset irrigation demand. He explained that these would be assistance grant so a City contribution 154 <br />is required and would be funded in both cases from the City’s water utility. 155 <br /> 156 <br />Council Member Stoesz noted that, under terms outlined in Resolution No. 19-57, the City is required 157 <br />to pick up costs for the project past a certain level. Mr. Grochala explained that the grant agreement 158 <br />provided for costing sharing of 50% for each party. 159 <br /> 160 <br />Council Member Maher moved to approve Resolution No. 19-56 as presented. Council Member 161 <br />Rafferty seconded the motion. Motion carried on a voice vote. 162 <br />Council Member Rafferty moved to approve Resolution No. 19-57 as presented.
