CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 19-77 <br /> <br />APPROVING 1ST AMENDMENT TO THE CDBG AND HOME COOPERATION <br />AGREEMENT WITH ANOKA COUNTY <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Lino Lakes and the County of Anoka have determined that it is desirable and <br />in the interests of its Citizens that the County qualifies as an urban county with the provisions of the <br />Housing and Urban Development Act of 1974, Title 1, of Public Law 93-383, as amended (42 USC <br />5301 et seq)(the “Act”); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City and County have entered into a Cooperation Agreement which authorizes the <br />County to participate with the City in undertaking essential community development and housing <br />assistance activities pursuant to the CDBG Entitlement Program and the HOME Investment <br />Partnerships Program; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City, pursuant to Resolution No. 19-50, adopted April 22, 2019, extended it’s <br />participation in the program for Federal Fiscal Years 2020 through 2022, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the County has requested approval of the 1st Amendment to the Cooperation Agreement <br />to bring the terms into compliance with federal HUD regulations. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LINO <br />LAKES, MINNESOTA, that the 1st Amendment to the Cooperation Agreement with Anoka County is <br />hereby approved.
