CITY OF LINO LAKES RESOLUTION NO. 19-77 APPROVING 1ST AMENDMENT TO THE CDBG AND HOME COOPERATION AGREEMENT WITH ANOKA COUNTY WHEREAS, the City of Lino Lakes and the County of Anoka have determined that it is desirable and in the interests of its Citizens that the County qualifies as an urban county with the provisions of the Housing and Urban Development Act of 1974, Title 1, of Public Law 93-383, as amended (42 USC 5301 et seq)(the “Act”); and WHEREAS, the City and County have entered into a Cooperation Agreement which authorizes the County to participate with the City in undertaking essential community development and housing assistance activities pursuant to the CDBG Entitlement Program and the HOME Investment Partnerships Program; and WHEREAS, the City, pursuant to Resolution No. 19-50, adopted April 22, 2019, extended it’s participation in the program for Federal Fiscal Years 2020 through 2022, and WHEREAS, the County has requested approval of the 1st Amendment to the Cooperation Agreement to bring the terms into compliance with federal HUD regulations. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LINO LAKES, MINNESOTA, that the 1st Amendment to the Cooperation Agreement with Anoka County is hereby approved. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to execute the amendment on behalf of the City. Adopted by the Council of the City of Lino Lakes this 24nd day of June, 2019.
