<br /> Anoka County 2019 <br />Multi-Jurisdictional <br />All Hazards Mitigation Plan <br /> <br /> 115 <br />113B4.4.2.1 Repetitive Flooding Analysis <br />In order for local jurisdictions to qualify for hazard mitigation assistance through the Flood <br />Mitigation Assistance Program (FMA), local hazard mitigation plans must include documentation <br />in its mitigation strategy that continued enforcement of applicable flood plain management <br />standards is parts of its strategy to reduce flood losses. In addition, a local mitigation plan must <br />include a section in its risk assessment that describes the source of repetitive flooding problems <br />and identifies the number and type (residential, commercial or governmental) of repetitive loss <br />properties in the jurisdiction. The residents and <br />City track the water levels and maintain communications with the residents during times that the <br />Mississippi River is elevated.
