COUNCIL MINUTES <br />DRAFT <br />5 <br /> 167 <br />6A) Consider Approval of Resolution 19-113, Approving the Amendment to the Joint 168 <br />Powers Agreement for the East Cedar Street & 24th Avenue/Elmcrest Avenue North 169 <br />Improvement Project – City Engineer Hankee reported that the city decided to rebid for with the 170 <br />possibility of better bids. The City of Hugo has already approve this amendment reflecting that 171 <br />change. Staff is recommending that the City approve the change as well. 172 <br /> 173 <br />Mayor Reinert remarked that this would be disappointing to folks who were looking forward to the 174 <br />road improvements but this delay and rebid is really necessary with the bids that came forward. 175 <br />The bids were 30% plus over the City’s estimated costs. 176 <br /> 177 <br />Council Member Manthey moved to approve Resolution No. 113 as presented. Council Member 178 <br />Maher seconded the motion.
