<br /> <br />The Developer estimated that a selection of trees from this list would cost $6,000. Staff estimated <br />that a selection of trees consistent with the landscape plan would be closer to $10,366. The <br />Developer provides a range of install costs from $7,200 to $12,984 based on the lowest range of <br />the hourly estimate. A quote for a shrub install ($4,256) appears to be part of a larger quote and <br />does not include mobilization and site preparation, and is not a complete bid. <br /> <br />The cost of open space plantings appears to be most cost effective with the Midwest Landscape <br />bid where all work is completed by one contractor. It also eliminates potential warranty issues that <br />would be possible with multiple contractors. <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION <br /> <br />Staff recommends adoption of Resolution No. 19-132, Resolution No. 19-133, Resolution No. 19- <br />134, and Resolution No. 19-135 accepting quotes for the remaining work at the St. Clair Estates <br />development. <br /> <br />ATTACHMENTS <br /> <br />1.
