COUNCIL MINUTES APPROVED 1 CITY OF LINO LAKES 2 MINUTES 3 4 DATE 0October 28, 2019 5 TIME STARTED 6:30 p.m. 6 TIME ENDED 7:15 p.m. 7 MEMBERS PRESENT Council Member Rafferty, Maher, 8 Stoesz and Mayor Reinert 9 MEMBERS ABSENT Council Member Manthey 10 11 Staff members present: City Administrator Jeff Karlson; Community Development Director 12 Michael Grochala; City Planner Katie Larsen; City Engineer Diane Hankee; Director of Public 13 Safety John Swenson; and City Clerk Julie Bartell 14 15 PUBLIC COMMENT 16 17 John Humenansky, 989 Lois Lane, expressed concern about rush hour traffic on Lake Drive. It's 18 difficult to get on and off. Mayor Reinert remarked that the council recently touched on the 19 possibility of lowering the speed limit on Lake Drive; he noted that it is an Anoka County roadway. 20 Mr. Humenansky said he would rather not see more stop lights. Community Development Director 21 Grochala remarked that much of the traffic relates to I35W reconstruction traffic. He noted that 22 sometime in the future, when roadways are redone in the area, a new road may be added. 23 24 SETTING THE AGENDA 25 26 The agenda was approved as presented. 27 28 CONSENT AGENDA 29 30 Council Member Rafferty moved to approve the Consent Agenda, Items I through 1 G, as 31 presented. Council Member Maher seconded the motion.
