COUNCIL MINUTES <br />APPROVED <br />48 Event Permit for Centerville Lions Ice Fishing Contest <br />49 <br />5o FINANCE DEPARTMENT REPORT <br />51 <br />52 There was no report from the Finance Department. <br />53 <br />54 ADMINISTRATION DEPARTMENT REPORT <br />Approved <br />55 3A) Consider Title 300 of the Lino Lakes City Code, Jeff Karlson <br />56 i) Consider Second Reading of Ordinance No. 01-19, Enacting Small Wireless <br />57 Facility Standards <br />58 ii) Consider Resolution No. 19449, Approving Summary Publication of <br />59 Ordinance No. 0149 <br />60 <br />61 Administrator Karlson explained that staff is recommending the second reading and passage of this <br />62 ordinance that establishes the City's code language as it relates to small wireless facilities. He <br />63 explained the amendments proposed since the council's first reading. <br />64 <br />65 Council Member Stoesz said he welcomes this ordinance that paves the way for 5G in the City. <br />66 <br />67 By unanimous consent, the council waived the full reading of Ordinance No. 01-19 as presented. <br />68 <br />69 Council Member Manthey moved to approve the 2nd Reading and Adoption of Ordinance No. 01-19 as <br />70 presented. Council Member Stoesz seconded the motion. Motion carried: Yeas, 5; Nays none. <br />71 <br />72 Council Member Rafferty moved to approve Resolution No. 19-149 as presented. Council Member <br />73 Maher seconded the motion. Motion carried on a voice vote. <br />74 <br />75 B) Consider Appointment of Police Officer — Human Resources Manager Bartholomew <br />76 reviewed her written report recommending that the council appoint applicant Anissa Ng to fill a vacant <br />77 police officer position. Education and qualifications of the applicant were reviewed. <br />78 Council Member Rafferty received confirmation that this appointment brings the department to full <br />79 staffing. <br />80 Council Member Manthey moved to approve the appointment of AnissaNg as recommended. <br />81 Council Member Stoesz seconded the motion.
