CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 19-180 <br />APPROVING LABOR AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />AND I.U.O.E., LOCAL NO. 49 FOR YEAR 2020 <br />WHEREAS, the City of Lino Lakes and International Union of Operating Engineers, Local No. <br />49, representing public works, have reached a one-year agreement for 2020. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Lino Lakes <br />approve the terms of the labor agreement, as follows: <br />1) WAGES: 3% wage increase effective January 1, 2020 for all unit members. <br />2) HEALTH INSURANCE: The City saw a decrease for 2020 and the union and City will <br />share in the decrease. All remaining provisions remain the same. <br />3) DENTAL: The City will add language in the union contract to reflect the practice of <br />providing single coverage. All other union contracts have language on dental insurance. <br />4) PROBATIONARY PERIODS: Increases probationary periods from six months to one <br />year for new hires. <br />5) TEMPORARY/SEASONAL MOU: Removes the provision requiring the City to credit <br />seasonal hours toward leave accruals and starting pay when a seasonal employee is hired <br />as a full-time employee. <br />Adopted by the Council of the City of Lino Lakes this 23rd day of December 2019. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was introduced by Council Member <br />Maher and was duly seconded by Council Member stoes z and upon vote being <br />taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />MAHER, STOESZ, MANTHEY, RAFFERTY, REINERT <br />The following voted against same: <br />NONE <br />ATTEST: <br />T <br />e Bartell, City Cler <br />
