COUNCIL MINUTES <br />DRAFT <br />1 <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES 1 <br />MINUTES 2 <br />3 <br />DATE : October 28, 2019 4 <br />TIME STARTED : 6:30 p.m. 5 <br />TIME ENDED : 7:15 p.m. 6 <br />MEMBERS PRESENT : Council Member Rafferty, Maher, 7 <br /> Stoesz and Mayor Reinert 8 <br />MEMBERS ABSENT : Council Member Manthey 9 <br />10 <br />Staff members present: City Administrator Jeff Karlson; Community Development Director 11 <br />Michael Grochala; City Planner Katie Larsen; City Engineer Diane Hankee; Director of Public 12 <br />Safety John Swenson; and City Clerk Julie Bartell 13 <br />14 <br />PUBLIC COMMENT 15 <br />16 <br />John Humenansky, 989 Lois Lane, expressed concern about rush hour traffic on Lake Drive. It’s 17 <br />difficult to get on and off. Mayor Reinert remarked that the council recently touched on the 18 <br />possibility of lowering the speed limit on Lake Drive; he noted that it is an Anoka County roadway. 19 <br />Mr. Humenausky said he would rather not see more stop lights. Community Development Director 20 <br />Grochala remarked that much of the traffic relates to I35W reconstruction traffic. He noted that 21 <br />sometime in the future, when roadways are redone in the area, a new road may be added. 22 <br />23 <br />SETTING THE AGENDA 24 <br />25 <br />The agenda was approved as presented. 26 <br />27 <br />CONSENT AGENDA 28 <br />29 <br />Council Member Rafferty moved to approve the Consent Agenda, Items 1A through 1G, as 30 <br />presented. Council Member Maher seconded the motion.
