Since the Amendment was passed, the City of Hugo has received indications that there may be <br />development interest on a parcel adjacent to Elmcrest Avenue. The City of Hugo therefore <br />wishes to include a bid alternate for the extension of sanitary sewer and watermain to serve this <br />property, should it develop in the future. The Second Amendment indicates that all engineering <br />invoices to prepare the bid alternate will be billed to and paid for directly by the City of Hugo. <br />The City of Hugo approved a Second Amendment to the Joint Powers Agreement on November <br />18, 2019. <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION <br /> <br />Staff is recommending approval of Resolution 19-156, Amending the Joint Powers Agreement, <br />East Cedar Street & 24th Avenue/Elmcrest Avenue North Improvement Project. <br /> <br />Staff is also recommending approval of Resolution 19-175, Approving Plans and Specifications <br />and Authorizing Advertisement for Bids, East Cedar Street & 24th Avenue/Elmcrest Avenue <br />North Improvement Project. <br /> <br />ATTACHMENTS <br /> <br />1.
