COUNCIL MINUTES <br />DRAFT <br />2 <br /> 49 <br />FINANCE DEPARTMENT REPORT 50 <br /> 51 <br />There was no report from the Finance Department. 52 <br /> 53 <br />ADMINISTRATION DEPARTMENT REPORT 54 <br />3A) Consider Title 300 of the Lino Lakes City Code, Jeff Karlson 55 <br /> i) Consider Second Reading of Ordinance No. 01-19, Enacting Small Wireless 56 <br /> Facility Standards 57 <br /> ii) Consider Resolution No. 19-149, Approving Summary Publication of 58 <br /> Ordinance No. 01-19 59 <br /> 60 <br />Administrator Karlson explained that staff is recommending the second reading and passage of this 61 <br />ordinance that establishes the City’s code language as it relates to small wireless facilities. He 62 <br />explained the amendments proposed since the council’s first reading. 63 <br /> 64 <br />Council Member Stoesz said he welcomes this ordinance that paves the way for 5G in the City. 65 <br /> 66 <br />By unanimous consent, the council waived the full reading of Ordinance No. 01-19 as presented. 67 <br /> 68 <br />Council Member Manthey moved to approve the 2nd Reading and Adoption of Ordinance No. 01-19 as 69 <br />presented. Council Member Stoesz seconded the motion. Motion carried: Yeas, 5; Nays none. 70 <br /> 71 <br />Council Member Rafferty moved to approve Resolution No. 19-149 as presented. Council Member 72 <br />Maher seconded the motion. Motion carried on a voice vote. 73 <br /> 74 <br />B) Consider Appointment of Police Officer – Human Resources Manager Bartholomew 75 <br />reviewed her written report recommending that the council appoint applicant Anissa Ng to fill a vacant 76 <br />police officer position. Education and qualifications of the applicant were reviewed. 77 <br />Council Member Rafferty received confirmation that this appointment brings the department to full 78 <br />staffing. 79 <br />Council Member Manthey moved to approve the appointment of Anissa Ng as recommended. 80 <br />Council Member Stoesz seconded the motion.
