CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 20.04 <br />APPROVING UPDATES TO EMPLOYEE DRUG AND ALCOHOL POLICIES <br />WHEREAS, periodically staff reviews the City's policies to make sure they are up-to-date; and, <br />WHEREAS, the City has two separate drug and alcohol testing policies, one for employees who drive <br />commercial vehicles subject to the Department of Transportation's standards, and one for all other <br />employees; and, <br />WHEREAS, there have been recent changes for employees subject to Department of Transportation <br />standards for drug and alcohol testing; and, <br />WHEREAS, staff has reviewed both drug and alcohol testing policies for employees and made <br />updates to reflect any law changes and recommended best practices. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LINO <br />LAKES, MINNESOTA, that the updated employee drug and alcohol policies are approved. <br />Adopted by the Council of the City of Lino Lakes this 13th day of January, 2020. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was introduced by Council Member <br />Ruhlandand was duly seconded by Council Member Stoesz and upon vote being <br />taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />Ruhland, Stoesz, Lyden, Rafferty, <br />The following voted against same: <br />none <br />ATTEST: <br />Juliarufe Bartell, City 1 lerk <br />
