COUNCIL MINUTES APPROVED 1 CITY OF LINO LAKES 2 MINUTES 3 4 DATE February 10, 2020 5 TIME STARTED 6:30 p.m. 6 TIME ENDED 7:05 p.m. 7 MEMBERS PRESENT Council Member Stoesz, Lyden, Ruhland, and 8 Mayor Rafferty 9 MEMBERS ABSENT 10 11 Staff members present: City Administrator Jeff Karlson; Community Development Director 12 Michael Grochala; City Engineer Diane Hankee; Human Resources Manager Karissa Bartholomew; 13 Director of Public Safety John Swenson 14 15 PUBLIC COMMENT 16 Jamie Jensen, Developer of St. Clair Estates, expressed concern with his difficulty in closing up his 17 project and he'd like the council's assistance, including in closing out the remainder of his letter of 18 credit. Mayor Rafferty noted that both the council and Mr. Jensen have been advised on the city 19 attorney's opinion in the matter. 20 SETTING THE AGENDA 21 The agenda was approved as presented. 22 CONSENT AGENDA 23 24 Council Member Stoesz moved to approve the Consent Agenda, Items 1 A through IF, as presented. 25 Council Member Ruhland seconded the motion. 26 27 Council Member Lyden noted the expenditure list and specifically costs associated with advertising 28 the recent fix it clinic. He noted the cost of the mailing and that 32 people attended. Community 29 Development Director Grochala remarked that the cost of the mailer is covered through the Anoka 30 County Score Grant. Mayor Rafferty suggested that staff update the council at a future work 31 session on that grant program and what is accomplished through those grant dollars. 32 33 Motion to approve the Consent Agenda carried on a voice vote. 34 35 ITEM ACTION 36 Consideration of Expenditures: 37 A) February 10, 2020 (Check No. 111707 through 111768) 38 in the Amount of $162,729.48 Approved 39 B) Consider Approval of January 27, 2020 40 Work Session Minutes Approved 41 C) Consider Approval of January 27, 2020 42 Council Meeting Minutes Approved 1
