A few assignments were left <br />61 open pending arrival of the newest member of the council. Based on direction, he is forwarding the <br />62 following appointments: <br />63 Joint Law Enforcement Council —Tony Cavegn <br />64 North Metro Telecommunications Commission — Alternate, Tony Cavegn <br />65 Anoka County Fire Protection Council — Rob Rafferty (alternate). <br />66 Councilmember Lyden moved to approve the appointments as presented. Councilmember Stoesz <br />67 seconded the motion. Motion carried on a voice vote <br />68 PUBLIC SAFETY DEPARTMENT REPORT <br />69 There was no report from the Public Safety Department, <br />70 PUBLIC SERVICES DEPARTMENT REPORT <br />71 5A) Consider Approval of Resolution No. 2045, Accepting bids and Awarding a <br />72 Construction Contract, Well House No. 1 Rehabilitation Project —City Engineer Hankee noted that <br />73 Justin Williams, Utility Supervisor, was also present to answer questions on this project. Ms. <br />74 Hankee explained the elements proposed for this project. Staff is not recommending approval of the <br />75 bid alternate for exterior concrete/asphalt. <br />76 Councilmember Lyden remarked that the cost of this project is enormous. He has looked at <br />77 individual elements (noting skylight) and they are very high. For four windows, the cost is $40,000. <br />2 <br />
