OPEN MIKE <br /> <br />Chair Tralle declared Open Mike at 6:36 p.m. <br /> <br />There was no one present for Open Mike. <br /> <br />Mr. Laden made a MOTION to close Open Mike at 6:37 p.m. Motion was supported by <br />Mr. Root. Motion carried 4-0. <br /> <br />VI. ACTION ITEMS <br /> <br />A. PUBLIC HEARING: Lyngblomsten Senior Living Community PUD Development <br />Stage Plan Amendment #1 – Site Plan and Grading & Drainage Plan <br /> <br />Ms. Larsen, City Planner, presented the staff report. <br /> <br />The applicant, Lyngblomsten, has submitted a land use application for PUD <br />Development Stage Plan Amendment #1 to omit the clubhouse and revise the site plan <br />and grading & drainage plans. The original PUD Development Stage Plan/Preliminary <br />Plat was approved by City Council on April 8, 2019 by Resolution No. 19-42. The <br />original plans included a centrally located stand-alone clubhouse. The clubhouse is now <br />being omitted in order to enlarge the stormwater pond. <br /> <br />Board Comments <br /> <br />Mr. Root commented although it was a disappointment to learn that the clubhouse was <br />not going to be built in order to enlarge the stormwater pond, he was pleased to hear the <br />clubhouse activities will be retained within the main building. He also stated the <br />realignment of the road was a good addition to the plan as it has the potential of creating <br />more parking spots. <br /> <br />Mr. Tralle concurred with Mr. Root. <br /> <br />Mr. Laden expressed his support regarding the retention of clubhouse activities within the <br />main building. He questioned if the amenities would be open to the public. <br /> <br />Judd Fenlon, from Grand Real Estate Advisors representing Lyngblomsten, stated the <br />pool and wellness area would be open to the public through membership. <br /> <br />Mr. Tralle asked if Mr. Fenlon would like to make any further comments before opening <br />the public hearing. <br /> <br />Mr. Fenlon shared that three individuals from Wold Architects and the civil engineer for <br />the project from A.J.A. were present in the meeting and they collectively would be able <br />to address any questions from the public.
