Planning & Zoning Board <br />April 8 , 2020 <br />Page 3 <br />APPROVED MINUTES <br />stating he and his colleagues are very excited about the project and they are committed to <br />seeing the project through. <br /> <br />Chair Tralle declared the Public Hearing open at 6:53 p.m. <br /> <br /> Public Comments <br /> <br />Courtney Hoadley, 255 Ash Street, wanted to hear more about landscaping plans between <br />her property and Lyngblomsten’s site. <br /> <br />Ms. Larsen, City Planner, assured Courtney when the final plans are submitted more <br />detail about the landscaping plans will be provided. <br /> <br />Mike Witham, 211 Woodridge Ln, asked if the footprint of the main building will be <br />increased since the clubhouse amenities will now be located within the main building. <br /> <br />Tu-Anh Bui Johnson, from Wold Architects and Engineers, addressed Mr. Witham’s <br />question by stating the footprint of the building has stayed relatively the same. However, <br />the pool area was enlarged to accommodate the lap pool and water exercises. <br /> <br />Ms. Peacock made a MOTION to close the Public Hearing at 6:59 p.m. Motion was <br />supported by Mr. Laden. Motion carried 5-0. <br /> <br />Ms. Peacock made a MOTION to recommend approval of the Lyngblomsten PUD <br />Amendment #1 to omit the clubhouse and revise the site plan and grading & drainage <br />plan subject to conditions listed in the staff report. Motion was supported by Mr. Root. <br />Motion carried 5-0. <br /> <br />B. Stern Addition Final Plat <br /> <br />Ms. Larsen, City Planner, presented the staff report. <br /> <br />The applicants, James and Sheryl Stern, have submitted a land use application for the <br />Stern Addition final plat. The applicants propose to subdivide their existing parcel into 2 <br />single family lots for the purpose of constructing one (1) new single family home. The <br />lot is located at 6820 West Shadow Lake Drive and is 0.96 gross acres (41,741 sf) as <br />measured above the OHWL. <br /> <br />Staff recommends approval of the final plat for Stern Addition. <br /> <br />Board Comments <br /> <br />Mr. Tralle commented on the 20ft wide access to the lake between lots. He thought each <br />lot would have a 20ft wide access to put in a dock, but not a shared dock. If a shared <br />dock is implemented, he stated we may run into problems if the parcels are sold later on
