Sanitary Sewer Plan <br />Goals of the sanitary sewer plan are to ensure well -planned, quality residential <br />development that conserves and enhances the city's natural resources and to provide an <br />affordable and safe sanitary sewer system. <br />An 8" sanitary sewer main exists along both Elm Street and Second Avenue. The <br />existing house is connected to municipal sanitary sewer. The new house will also be <br />connected to municipal sanitary sewer. The system has capacity for one (1) additional <br />single family home. <br />Water Supply Plan <br />A goal of the water supply plan is to provide residents affordable potable water that is <br />safe and of high quality for daily consumption and fire demand. <br />A 12" watermain exists along Elm Street. The existing house is connected to municipal <br />watermain. <br />A 6" watermain exists along Second Avenue. The new house will also be connected to <br />municipal watermain. <br />Planning Districts <br />The site is located in Planning District 2 and is guided for low density residential <br />development. There are no specific planning recommendations for this site. The site is <br />located within Rice Lake Resource Management Unit (RMU). <br />Environmental Board Comments <br />The Environmental Board reviewed the proposed preliminary plat on October 28, 2020. <br />They recommended approval of the project with conditions listed in the attached October <br />28, 2020 Memo from the Environmental Coordinator. <br />Public Safety Department <br />The Police Division and Fire Division reviewed the plans and have no additional <br />comments or concerns. <br />Final Plat <br />A land use application for final plat and Development Agreement shall be required. <br />0 <br />
