CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 20-85 <br />APPOINTING ADDITIONAL ELECTION JUDGES FOR <br />THE AUGUST 11, 2020 PRIMARY ELECTION <br />WHEREAS, a State Primary Election will be held on August 11, 2020; and <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Minnesota Statute 204B.21, Subd. 2, election judges for each precinct <br />in a municipality shall be appointed by the governing body of that municipality; and <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Minnesota Statute 204B.21, a list of eligible voters was prepared; and <br />WHEREAS, the following qualified individuals have agreed to serve as election judges; and <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Minnesota Statute 204B.25, election judges will receive training in <br />preparation for their service; <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by The City Council of The City of Lino Lakes that <br />the following named persons are qualified individuals and are hereby appointed to serve as <br />election judges for the 2020 Primary Election: <br />Leonard Olson <br />Mashell Olson <br />Patrick McCool <br />Kathryn McCool <br />Carol Blomberg <br />Denise Palmer <br />Justine Morris <br />Kimberli Johnson <br />Pat Keuppers <br />Adopted by the Council of the City of Lino Lakes this 27th day of July, 2020. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was introduced by Councilmember <br />Lycl and was duly seconded by Councilmember Orr,-v ecj n and upon a <br />vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />Ly i— v , Clove yn, ( k civ�cl, Stbes7, CZ0.-(Pero-/ <br />The following voted against same: <br />Noble— <br />rty, Mayor <br />AT "PEST: <br />e Bartell, City Clerk <br />
