City of Lino Lakes - ZONING ORDINANCE <br />• f. No advertising message shall be affixed to the antenna <br />tower. <br />g. The height of the antenna shall be the minimum necessary <br />to function satisfactorily. <br />h. Antennas shall not be artificially illuminated unless required <br />by law or by a governmental agency to protect the public's health <br />and safety. <br />i. When applicable, proposals to erect new antenna shall be <br />accompanied by any required federal, state, or local agency <br />licenses. <br />j. If a new antenna tower is to be constructed, it shall be <br />designed so as to accommodate other users including but not <br />limited to other cellular communication companies, local police, fire, <br />and ambulance companies. <br />k. Antenna towers shall be painted silver or have a galvanized <br />finish to reduce visual impact. <br />• I. Transmitting, receiving and switching equipment shall be <br />housed within an existing structure whenever possible. If a new <br />equipment building is necessary for transmitting, receiving and <br />switching equipment, it shall be situated in the rear yard of the <br />principal use and shall be screened from view by landscaping <br />where appropriate. <br />7. Day care facilities (exceeding fourteen (14) persons) provided that: <br />a. Screening is provided along shared property boundaries. <br />Such required fencing and screening shall comply with the <br />applicable provisions of Section 3, Subd. 4.S of this Ordinance. <br />b. All day care facility operations comply with the minimum <br />requirements of the Minnesota Department of Health and Human <br />Services regulations, as may be amended. <br />8. Wild game farms and gun clubs provided that: <br />a. The principal use, function or activity is open, outdoor in <br />. character and the site shall contain a minimum of 100 acres. <br />
