yNu 2 9 ( cl `P 464-5562 <br />CilTiiwLahen <br />1189 Main Street <br />Lino Lakes, Minnesota 55014 <br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF <br />THE CITY OF LINO LAKES, ANOKA COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br />A regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Lino Lakes, <br />Anoka County, Minnesota was duly held in the City Hall, City of Lino <br />Lakes, at 8:00 P.M., on the 28th day of June, 1976 at which meeting the <br />following members were present: Acting Mayor Richard Zelinka and <br />Councilmen Harvey Karth and John McLean. <br />Mr. John McLean introduced the following Resolution•,': and moved its <br />adoption: <br />A RESOLUTION SPECIFYING THE INTENT OF THE CITY OF LINO LAKES TO <br />PREPARE AND ADOPT PLANS AND REGULATORY CONTROLS TO ASSURE THE PRO- <br />TECTION OF METROPOLITAN AND CITY OF LINO LAKES INVESTMENTS IN THE <br />LINO LAKES INTERCEPTOR. <br />WHEREAS, the Metropolitan Council has approved plans and specifications <br />for the Lino Lakes interceptor and has directed the Metropolitan Waste <br />Control Commission to provide service to existing platted parcels of <br />land in the Country Lakes Addition, the Shenandoah Addition and to <br />existing mobile home sites in the Baldwin Lake Trailer Park: and <br />WHEREAS, the Metropolitan Council has expressed its expectation that <br />Lino Lakes,by December 31, 1976, should prepare and adopt plans and <br />regulatroij controls to assure the protection of lletropolitan and Lino <br />Lakes investments in the Lino Lakes interceptor; and <br />WHEREAS, the Metropolitan,Counc`ilrr has indicated these plans and regulatory <br />controls should include zoning ordinance amendments, private sewage <br />disposal regulations and interim development controls applicable to <br />"problem areas" whichawill ensure development densitites and capacities <br />to forestall the premature expansion and extension of the Lino Lakes <br />intep.ceptor; and <br />WHERAS',at the request of the City, the Metropolitan Council staff has <br />provided :further definition of the expected plans and regulatory <br />controls;' and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Lino Lakes is willing to provide the Metropolitan <br />Council plans and regulatory controls to coincide with the completion <br />of the Lino Lakes interceptor; <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Lino Lakes: <br />1. The City will prepare and adopt plans and regulatory controls to <br />protect metropolitan and City of Lino Lakes investments in the <br />Lino Lakes Interceptor. <br />
