CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 20-163 <br />APPROVING THE 2021-2022 LABOR AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF LINO <br />LAKES AND LELS, LOCAL NO. 260 <br />WHEREAS, the City of Lino Lakes and Law Enforcement Labor Services, Local No. 260, <br />representing the sergeants, have reached an agreement for 2021-2022; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Lino Lakes <br />approve the terms of the labor agreement, as follows: <br />1) COMPENSATION/WAGES: <br />a) 2.25% Wage increase effective January 1, 2021 <br />b) 2.25% Wage increase effective January 1, 2022 <br />c) Wage Schedule (Appendix A) replaced in entirety to reflect implementation of <br />Keystone Job Classification and Compensation Plan. Effective January 1, 2021, <br />Sergeants will move to Step 8 of the new compensation plan; and effective July 1, <br />2021, Sergeants will move to Step 9 of the new compensation plan. <br />d) New Sergeant/Firefighter Classification — Employees classified by the Employer <br />to the position of Sergeant/Firefighter will receive a premium pay of 7% above <br />the employee's hourly rate of pay. <br />2) INSURANCE: Article 17.1 (Health) revised to read: <br />a) Effective January 1, 2021, the Employer will contribute 100% ($538.42) of the <br />monthly base single premium and $1,142.53 toward the monthly base family <br />premium. <br />b) Effective January 1, 2022, the Employer will contribute 100% of the base single <br />plan and $1,142.53 plus 50% of the 2022 premium increase toward the base <br />family plan. <br />c) The Employer's contributions toward the Health Savings Account and the cash <br />option for waiving coverage remain the same. <br />3) HOLIDAY PAY: Article 13 was revised to include language that employees will be paid <br />banked holidays at their separation of service. <br />4) FUNERAL LEAVE: Same as City's personnel policy. <br />5) SICK LEAVE: Article 16.2 revised to read: Sick leave accrued beyond <br />paid to the Post -Retirement Health Care Savings Plan for the employee <br />the amount earned up to a maximum of 960 hours. <br />6) CLOTHING ALLOWANCE: The annual clothing allowance increases <br />adjustment; therefore, the annual clothing allowance will be $865.17 in <br />in 2022. <br />720 hours will be <br />at 50 percent of <br />by any wage <br />2021 and $884.64 <br />
