CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 21-01 <br />RESOLUTION ACCEPTING QUOTES, AND AWARDING A CONSTRUCTION <br />CONTRACT, 2020 SURFACE WATER MAINTENANCE PROJECT 2 <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to a request for quotes for the construction of the 2020 Surface Water <br />Maintenance Project 2, quotes were received, and tabulated: <br />CONTRACTOR <br />TOTAL QUOTE <br />C.W. Houle, Inc. <br />Did Not Quote <br />North Pine Aggregate, Inc. <br />Did Not Quote <br />Penn Contracting, Inc. <br />Did Not Quote <br />Arnt Construction Company, Inc. <br />$41,440.00 <br />Olson's Sewer Service/ Olson's Excavating Services <br />$44,526.52 <br />WHEREAS, it appears that Arnt Construction Company, Inc. of Lino Lakes, Minnesota, is the <br />lowest responsible bidder; and <br />WHEREAS, the funding for the project is from the General Fund Streets Budget; and <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Lino Lakes that the <br />Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract with Arnt Construction <br />Company, Inc. for the construction of the 2020 Surface Water Maintenance Project 2 in the amount <br />of $41,440.00; <br />Adopted by the Council of the City of Lino Lakes this 25th day of January, 2021. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was introduced by Council Member <br />and was duly seconded by Council Member and upon <br />vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />The following voted against same: <br />Rob Rafferty, Mayor <br />ATTEST: <br />Julianne Bartell, City Clerk <br />
