Charter Commission <br /> October 9, 1997 <br /> Page 14 <br /> Commissioner Trehus asked if election to the City Council would create additional openings on <br /> the Commission. Chair Montain explained that the Charter's By-Laws allow for membership on <br /> more than one governing body, so conceivably a Charter Commissioner could sit on the City <br /> Council. <br /> SET JANUARY, 1998 AGENDA <br /> The following items were suggested for the January agenda: <br /> Roll Call <br /> Election of Officers <br /> Consideration of Minutes <br /> Road Reconstruction <br /> Five-Year Plan <br /> Appearances <br /> Charter Language <br /> Communications <br /> Chair Montain asked for comments from the visitors to the meeting. Mr. McCoy thanked the <br /> Commission for allowing him to attend. <br /> MOTION by Commissioner Dunn, seconded by Commissioner Trehus, to approve Chair <br /> Montain's annual report. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> Chair Montain expressed his gratitude to the Commission for the past year's work. <br /> Commissioner Dunn thanked Chair Montain for his leadership over the past year. <br /> MOTION by Commissioner Bening, seconded by Commissioner Dahl, to adjourn the meeting at <br /> 9:30 p.m. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> Transcribed by: <br /> Judy Pope <br /> Timesaver Off Site Secretarial, Inc. <br />
