Johnson felt the Association is asking for a site location and any- <br /> thing put at City Hall Park will be in the way of something else , sooner - <br /> or Later, so he would be in favor4 of Lino Park as a site for this con- <br /> struction . <br /> Mr . R . Johnson moved to recommend to the Council that this storage building <br /> be approved for construction at Lino Park . Seconded by Mrs . LeBlond. <br /> Motion carried unanimously . <br /> COUNTRY LAKES PARK REPORT <br /> The report from Mr. John Davidson , City Engineer, was presented and dis- <br /> cussed briefly . Mr. Volk reported the Council had given approval to prepare <br /> a cost study for the feasibility study . Mr. Volk reported the Council had <br /> approve $4 ,000 . 00 for the study , <br /> BATH HOUSE - COUNTRY LAKES PARK <br /> The committee on this had not contacted the architect as yet . They will <br /> report at a later meeting . <br /> SHENANDOAH PARK - TOT LOT DEVELOPMENT <br /> Mr. Arntzen noted that Mr. Glen Olson , from the Lino Lakes JC 's was in the <br /> audience . That organization has some money they would like to dedicate to <br /> the development of this Park , <br /> Mr . Volk reported on the bids he had received for equipment on this Park . <br /> He noted that when he asked for bids he had indicated the total amount <br /> to be spent was approximately $5 ,000 . 00 . The first bid from Miracle <br /> Equipment presented a total plan and bid is just on the first phase . This <br /> included two slides , two spring animals , large swing, a whirl . The second <br /> bid from Earl . F. Andersen had swings , one slide , ring swings and a lateral <br /> bridge . <br /> Mr. K. Johnson felt the first bid offered more equipment for the price and <br /> Mr. Volk agreed. <br /> After some discussion on the pieces of equipment , Mrs . LeBlond moved to <br /> recommend to the Council acceptance of the bid from Miracle Equipment . <br /> Seconded by Mr. Flannery . Motion carried unanimously . <br /> Mr . Flanner had arrived during this discussion . <br /> There was a question as to the time frame for installation and Mr. Volk <br /> felt , in the Spring. However, if the weather held , maybe some could be <br /> installed yet this Fall . The quote is only good for 30 days , so the <br /> equipment will be ordered as soon as approved. <br /> RECREATIONAL NEEDS SURVEY <br /> �. This survey had been prepared by Mr. Flannery and presented at the last <br /> Park Board meeting. Mr . K. Johnson asked Mr . Flannery if he had any <br /> additions to the last presentation and Mr. Flannery said, No . <br /> Mr. K. Johnson asked if any of the members had any questions on the survey . <br />
