Park Board October 101 1982 Page Two Mr. R . Johnson felt the Association is asking for a site location and any- thing put at City Hall Park will be in the way of something else , sooner - or Later, so he would be in favor4 of Lino Park as a site for this con- struction . Mr . R . Johnson moved to recommend to the Council that this storage building be approved for construction at Lino Park . Seconded by Mrs . LeBlond. Motion carried unanimously . COUNTRY LAKES PARK REPORT The report from Mr. John Davidson , City Engineer, was presented and dis- cussed briefly . Mr. Volk reported the Council had given approval to prepare a cost study for the feasibility study . Mr. Volk reported the Council had approve $4 ,000 . 00 for the study , BATH HOUSE - COUNTRY LAKES PARK The committee on this had not contacted the architect as yet . They will report at a later meeting . SHENANDOAH PARK - TOT LOT DEVELOPMENT Mr. Arntzen noted that Mr. Glen Olson , from the Lino Lakes JC 's was in the audience . That organization has some money they would like to dedicate to the development of this Park , Mr . Volk reported on the bids he had received for equipment on this Park . He noted that when he asked for bids he had indicated the total amount to be spent was approximately $5 ,000 . 00 . The first bid from Miracle Equipment presented a total plan and bid is just on the first phase . This included two slides , two spring animals , large swing, a whirl . The second bid from Earl . F. Andersen had swings , one slide , ring swings and a lateral bridge . Mr. K. Johnson felt the first bid offered more equipment for the price and Mr. Volk agreed. After some discussion on the pieces of equipment , Mrs . LeBlond moved to recommend to the Council acceptance of the bid from Miracle Equipment . Seconded by Mr. Flannery . Motion carried unanimously . Mr . Flanner had arrived during this discussion . There was a question as to the time frame for installation and Mr. Volk felt , in the Spring. However, if the weather held , maybe some could be installed yet this Fall . The quote is only good for 30 days , so the equipment will be ordered as soon as approved. RECREATIONAL NEEDS SURVEY �. This survey had been prepared by Mr. Flannery and presented at the last Park Board meeting. Mr . K. Johnson asked Mr . Flannery if he had any additions to the last presentation and Mr. Flannery said, No . Mr. K. Johnson asked if any of the members had any questions on the survey .
