Park Board June 1 , 1981 Page Three '—'- Mrs . Sullivan presented her design for the development of the Park and the areas to be used for the different activities . The Park Board had questions and suggestions which were discussed with Mrs . Sullivan. It was felt the next step to contact Mr . Rehbein and asked if in his development of the ponding area, he would conform to the plan for the park as presented by Mrs . Sullivan . Mrs . Sullivan asked what the Board would like her to do next as to the planning of this park? Mr . Schumacher felt that Mr . Rehbein should be contacted on the question of the holding pond - could Mrs . Sullivan ' s suggestions be incorporated into the construction of this holding pond? Mr . Arntzen asked Mr . Schumacher to check on the requirements of a culvert under Arrowhead where it meets the Park . This plan is to be studied by the members and th`Smatter is to be on the July agenda . If there are suggestions for changes , they should be ready for that meeting . Mr . Volk asked Mrs . Sullivan if he can get extra copies of the plan and she said, Yes . EQUIPMENT FOR TOT LOT Mr . Volk said this had been discussed with the Park Board members at a previous meeting and he has ordered one piece of equipment and will be , ordering the second piece . Mr . Volk presented pictures of the piece he has ordered and felt this would be delivered within the next month . The second piece will be ordered from a different company and he is requesting approval from the Park Board for this purchase . One piece of equipment will be installed at City Hall Park and the second piece at Sunrise Park . Mrs . LeBlonde asked, since this has already been approved, is a motion necessary? Mr . Schumacher felt it would be best just for the records . Mr . Johnson moved to approve the purchase from Earl Anderson $ Associates the landscape structure and 3 seater swing set for City Hall Park and the purchase from Miracle Equipment Company a total playground center and 3 slides for Sunrise Park . Seconded by Mr . Arntzen . Motion carried unanimously The total dollar figure is $33 , 417 . 00 . Mrs . LeBlonde , from the April meeting, referred to the request of Mr . DeMars for protective fences at the Little League fields . Mr . Volk said that snow fences were erected but since that the time , the Circle-Lex Lions have donated enough fence for this purpose . This fencing has not been erected as yet , but it will be done as soon as time allows . This is just for the two Little League fields . Mr . Volk reported that a resident of the City who has a nursey, had donated .,-,. about 200 trees to the City . These trees have been planted in the various parks . Mr . Volk had written a letter of thanks to this resident . Mrs . LeBlonde suggested that a letter also be sent from the Park Board . Meeting was adjounaed at 9 : 35 P .M .
