Page -2- April 18, 1977 Budget The Park budget, cash flow and the method of accounting for the Park Department was dis- cussed. It was noted that the dedicated funds (monies received from area developers in lieu of park land) are recorded separately. The Park Board can control where this money is going. The purchase of a mower was discussed. This mower is to be used for Park purposes only. Mr. Gredvig moved to recommend to the Council that this mower be purchased and that Mr. Volk submit a requisition stating the mower specifications and the exact price. Mr. Ring- aman seconded the motion. Motion carried unanimously. Mr. Schneider suggested that Mr. Volk attend the next Council meeting to answer any questions that the Council may have about this purchase. Mr. Schneider noted that this purchase will come out of dedicated funds. Other Business Satelites were discussed. . Mr. Ringaman moved to recommend to Council that two satelites be placed at Sunrise Park Starting May I , 1977 and one at Lino Park and one at City Hall Park starting June I , 1977 throught August, 1977. Mr. Gredvig seconded the motion. Mot- ion carried unanimiously. Mr. Schneider suggested that Mr. Volk have a requisition for the satelites with exact prices for the Council to consider. Mr. Ringaman said he would contact Mr. Volk and let him know what needs to be done at Sunrise Park. Ms. Spain and Ms. Roberts presented their final concept maps of City Hall Park. They explained the drawings to the Park Board and showed slides of what could be included in the Park. Mr. Schneider asked the ladies if they could make this same presentation to the Council May 9, 1977. They said they would. Mr. Resch asked the ladies what expenses they have incurred and what the Park can expect to pay each of them. Ms. Spain listed: Maps $6.00, Prints $3.00, Film/Development $10.00, Travel , $15.00 plus $75.00 for Ms. Spain and $75.00 for Ms. Roberts. Ms. Spain asked Mrs. Anderson to have someone measure the distance from Rondeau Road to the City Hall driveway and from the driveway to the first ballfield. The exact distances are needed for additonal drawings. Mr. Ringaman moved to adjourn at 10: 15 P.M. Mrs. Averbeck seconded the motion. Aye.
