Page -2- January 17, 1977 <br /> Mr. Schneider introduced the Board to Mrs. Averbeck, the new Board member. He asked Mrs. <br /> Averbeck if she would be the representative of the Lino Park. Mrs. Averbeck agreed. <br /> Mr. Schneider informed the Board of the meeting to be held January 26, 1977 at Bunker <br /> Prairie Park. All Board members will receive an invitation to attend this meeting where <br /> they will be informed of the plan for the Open Space program in Lino Lakes. <br /> Mr. Schneider asked Mrs. Anderson to set up a tickler file of-' Park Board needs for the <br /> 1978 budget. This procedure will avoid the problem of forgetting an item for the budget. <br /> Hockey light at Sunrise Park was the first item suggested. <br /> Other Reports <br /> Mr. Ringaman said he heard both tractors were now out of service for repair. <br /> Mr. Schneider reported he had not received Mr. Mobleys second.:bid for repair of the Barn <br /> at Sunrise. He asked Mrs. Anderson to ask Mr. Mobley for the bid. <br /> Mr. Ringaman said that Mrs. Billik' wood heating supply is running low. He asked who is <br /> responsible. <br /> Mr. Ringaman moved to have Mr. Schneider ask the Council to investigate the possible fuel <br /> problem with the Sunrise Park caretaker. Mrs. L IjdahI seconded the motion. Motion carr- <br /> ied unanimously. <br /> ^1r. Resch asked how many new developments are now being considered. Mr. Schneider said <br /> he would have Mrs. Sarner prepared a survey of the new developments and the status of the <br /> money or designated Park land. Mr. Schneider will review the survey at the next Park <br /> meeting. <br /> New Business <br /> Mr. Ringaman suggested that someone keep Mr. Volk informed of the Park budget needs in <br /> advance. For instance, the ballfields should be limed prior to any use. <br /> Mr. Ringaman asked that the Police Depa rtment check on the moto rized vehicles using Sunrise <br /> Park. Mrs. Anderson will ask Chief Myhre to check on this problem. <br /> Mr. Ringaman asked Mrs. Anderson to prepare a comparison of the 1975, 1976 winter Park <br /> expenses and the 1976, 1977 winter Park expenses. This comparison should include shop <br /> expenses. Mrs. Anderson will bring the comparison to the February, 1977 Park meeting. <br /> Mr. Gredvig moved to adjourn at 8:50 P.M. Mrs. Liljedahl seconded the motion. Aye. <br /> Mr. Schneider suggested the February Park Board meeting be held in the Clerks office so <br /> that the table could be used for planning the Park at City Hall . <br />
