Page -2- December 20, 1976 <br /> Mr. Berger Hardy of the Centennial Assn. asked the Commission if there could be more <br /> or better lighting placed at the Sunrise hockey rink. Also the electric breakers <br /> need repair. <br /> After discussion of various ways of providing more lights and the cost the Commission <br /> asked Mr. Volk to fix some temporary light on Tuesday and call Mr. Hardy and checkout <br /> the lights Tuesday evening. <br /> Mr. Ringaman moved to direct Mr. Volk to install the temporary lights December 21 , <br /> 1976 and check them out. If he cannot obtain additional lights or if they do not <br /> work Mr. Volk will call Mr. Ringaman or Mr. Resch by Wednesday December 22, 1976. <br /> Motion seconded by Mr. Gredvig. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> The Commission thanked Mr. Hardy for coming. <br /> Mr. Ringaman asked Mr. Volk if he could provide a heavy duty hook on the main door <br /> into the rink to make it easier to operate. Mr. Volk said he would. <br /> Mr. Ringaman noted the fire extinguisher needed repair. Mr. Volk said he had already <br /> taken care of it. <br /> Mr. Schneider said he had talked to Mr. Mobley about a second bid on the repair of <br /> the barn at Sunrise. Mr. Mobley is still working on it. <br /> Mr. Ringaman said he had talked to Mrs. Billik and she stated she does not open the <br /> warming house at all Monday through Friday: She said she will open it on the week- <br /> ends from 12:30 P.M. to 4:00 P.M. and 6:30 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. <br /> Mr. Schneider asked Chief Myhre when the park at Sunrise is checked by the patrolmen. <br /> Chief Myhre explained they try to check at least once a shift sometimes two or three <br /> times. However, if the squad is unusually busy they may not check at all . <br /> Chief Myhre said he will ask his officers to write Initial Complain Report forms for <br /> each incident involving the park and give a copy of it to Mrs. Anderson so.that the <br /> Commission will know what is happening at the Park. <br /> Mr. Volk tald the Commission that the Pleasure Rink at City Hall is skateable and the <br /> warming house trailer will be wire for electricity this week. <br /> Mr. Gredvig moved to adjourn at 9:40 P.M. Mr. Scherer seconded the motion. Aye. <br /> n <br />
