page Three - February 16, 1976 Ordinance #61 , governing the use of the Parks was discussed. Mr. Scherer felt that if the beer tournaments are allowed in the Park, there would have to be an amendment to the Ordinance. There will also have to be a set of rules regulating the gouraments. After some discussion, Mr. Resch felt this is a matter for the Attorney. The following was suggested as a possible amendment to Ordinance #61; "Section 5 of Ordinance #61 be amended to allow the consumption of 3. 2% beer by special permit. This special permit to be obtained only with Council approval . " Mrs . Liljedahl moved to recommend this for Council consideration and approval . Seconded by Mr. Hanson. Motion carried. Mr. Schneider will ask the Attorney for a legal opinion on this matter. He is to also ask the Attorney about Section 19 of Ord.#61 . A suggested form had been drawn up by last year's Park Board setting the fee for use of the Park at $100.00 for two days with a $100.00 deposit for clean-up. There was also a suggested application form. Both the suggested fees and the proposed form seemed to be appropriate.. to this Board. There was the suggestion that members of the leagues that use the Parks be asked to attend a Park Board meeting for their input. Mr. Hanson reported he had had a call from a Mrs. Averback asking about playground equipment for Lino Park. He suggested that she be invited to attend a meeting and present her ideas. Mr. Resch said these meetings are open and anyone can attend. Mr. Hanson said he will call be back and invite her to the March meet- ing. There was some discussion on the fact that the past Board had dis- cussed this matter and had made some recommendations. Mr. Schneider found the Attorney had been asked for an opinion on the sale and consumption-of 3. 2% beer at the soft ball tournament that had been cancelled last year.
