MARCH 17, 1975 <br /> -3- <br /> Lino Park needs a backstop and based put in. The sockets are in the <br /> ground for the bases already. The City must also put the matching funds <br /> up that were promised when the Lions Club began the program for Lino <br /> Park. These funds will be needed sometime this spring when the park is <br /> completed. The question of neighborhood usage of the park was brought up. <br /> Mr. Gourley reminded the board that there is much pressure to have the ball <br /> fileds available for the neighborhood residen*s at least twice a week. <br /> This will be considered when schedule are drawn up for Lino Park. <br /> At the Nall Park the backstop needs to be replaced and put in the proper <br /> position. it is to be lined up frith the existing backstop. This has <br /> been discussed before and the Public works Supervisor will be give a work <br /> order to get this done as soon as possible. <br /> Mr. McLean advised the park board to have some ideas ready for the April <br /> meeting on how they want the maintance handled this year during the coming <br /> months so that he can give definite work order to the crews. <br /> Mr. McLean also brough the Board Members up-to-date on what Is being <br /> done on the Chain of Lakes Park. There was a meeting last week and <br /> a trip around Lino Lakes was made via snowmobiles to show other members <br /> just what area they will be working with. He said that there Is at least <br /> one year's wrk in Lino Lakes alone and he will keep the Park Board advised <br /> of the progress this committe is makeing. <br /> Mr. LeTournuea moved to adjourn at 10:00 P.M.
