Page Two Aug. 19,4974 The necessary things to be done atthe Hail property before winter was discussed. The need to relocate the backstop at the second ball diamond and the field must be re-graded - there is rubbish in the back of the property that must be hauled out - the spot for the skating rink needs to be leveled and packed - some sort of building to used as a warming house and supervision for the rink - Mr. Kent and Mr. Resch will get together this week and have some plans ready for Mr. McLean before the first budget meeting. This will give an indication of the capital Improve- ments that are planned and in what order. Mr. Mclean asked for some esti- mate of costs. The Sunrise Park was discussed. The house, barn and warming house have been painted. The hockey rinks need to be leveled as does the pleasure rink. The boards on the hockey rinks need repair and paint - new goals are needed - some extension of the present warming house is necessary - more benches. There was discussion of the capital Improvements for this park to be included in the budget. Mr. Clausen will present his suggestions and estimated costs to Mr. McLean. There was some discussion of using the very back part of the Hail property for the disposal of diseased trees. The suggestion of using this area for a sliding hill and possibly using this material to' help build it up. More on this will be discussed at a later date. Pairs.
