The Parkboard is still investigating the <br /> possibilities of a Parks and Recreation bond referendum. <br /> Barry Bernstein was absent for this meeting so we postponed the <br /> discussion of program reviews. <br /> A discussion followed concerning the planning of future programs. <br /> The following suggestions were made: <br /> Educational programs for subjects such as Tree Pruning and <br /> Gardening. <br /> A kids gardening program. <br /> Maple syruping. <br /> Kids/Adults combined exercise. <br /> City Festival. <br /> Race Days. <br /> Orienteering. <br /> Kittenball for teens. <br /> Bonfires. <br /> Soccer, 3 on 3 <br /> Inline skating league for teens, by use of a bituminous mat in <br /> one of the hockey rinks. <br /> Please Note: The next Recreation Focus Committee is scheduled <br /> for Tuesday, the 25th of October, 6:30pm at Lino Lakes City Hall <br /> in the Senior Center. <br />
