Recreation Focus Committee Meeting
Tuesday, June 14, 1994
Page 2
Lakes Police Department has setup. Brian wanted to clarify the
process and what comes first. He wondered if a user group list
should be made up. Ray Weber developed 4-5 questions on what the
users priorities are. Marty mentioned the groups that are
organized are athletic associations, church groups, boy scouts
and girl scouts. Corey mentioned the possibility of the Mommies
Group Connections. Marty said adult user groups could provide
information on needs. Barry agreed that a variety of groups
should have a sample taken from them. Marty also mentioned
persons with disabilities should be taken as a sample population.
Ray Weber added the type of questions asked would be general
enough to get specific information. Corey asked if we could
widen the survey to include nonusers and other persons besides
sport teams/associations. Brian suggested we come up with a list
of people who are organized to assist in building survey
questions. Corey Bauer asked if this would be a program planning
survey. Would you be able to open it up and see their program
offerings. Marty mentioned that this should not be a full blown
survey-
WRAP-UP: Marty said the meetings should be an hour in length and
everyone agreed.
N=ING SCHEDULE: The next meeting will be July 12, 6:30pm, at
the Lino Lakes City Hall.
ADJOURN: The meeting adjourned at 8:OOpm.
