Marty said the City of Lino Lakes is two years <br /> behind in programs for persons with disabilities. <br /> DISEASED TREES: Cathy mentioned that there were dead trees in <br /> her yard. Marty explained about bark breakage in young Elms. He <br /> then explained about bare root trees and said it was a real art <br /> placing the trees. He also stated that the trees are very <br /> expensive. Cathy then asked what determined a boulevard tree <br /> and a tree that was the residents responsibility. Marty <br /> explained boulevard and residential trees and stated that the <br /> City will replace hers or any other residents tree that is <br /> diseased and on the boulevard right-of-way. <br /> PROGRAMMING: Barry quickly reviewed the upcoming program <br /> schedule for fall and winter. Cathy said that some of our <br /> programs, in the past, were not of the best quality. She <br /> mentioned that she saw much improved programming and staff this <br /> year and looks forward to future programming. <br /> SCHEDULE NEXT MEETING: The next Recreation Focus Comuittee <br /> meeting will be held on Wednesday, September 14, 6:30pm, at City <br /> Hall. <br /> '~ ADJOURN: Being no further business the meeting was adjourned at <br /> 8:20pm. <br /> 1 <br />
