Approval of Minutes from 6/1/98 <br /> (Page 2, 60`paragraph, line 1 minutes amended to read "Birch Park", and the last <br /> sentence, same paragraph, should read "on the north..." Pam Taschuk made a <br /> motion to approve the amended minutes, seconded by Sharon Lane and approved.) <br /> 3. Setting Agenda <br /> (Add E. Cooperative Venture Athletic Complex and F. Comp Plan Update) <br /> 4. Open Mike <br /> (No one present) <br /> 5. Birchwood Acres <br /> A. Installation of Climbing Equipment <br /> (Paul Montain made a motion, seconded by Jeff Reinert to accept the addition of the <br /> Jacobs Ladder climber apparatus to Birchwood Acres Park playground. Passed <br /> unanimously.) <br /> B. Trail Paving 1998 <br /> (Paul Montain made a motion to move the trail to provide a more pleasing visual <br /> experience for trail users. Seconded by Pam Taschuk and approved.) <br /> 6. Request to Lease Portion of Quail Ridge Park to Residents for BMX Track <br /> (After discussion it was decided that the Park Board would consider leasing the <br /> property contingent upon residents obtaining insurance and working with the City <br /> Attorney to create a lease.) <br /> 7. Review of 5 Year Capital Improvement Program <br /> (George requested that members put an effort into this project and respond to Rick <br /> by Thursday, July 9, 1998.) <br /> 8. Review Development Plan of Rice Lake Estates Park <br /> (Paul Montain made a motion, seconded by Pam Taschuk to allocate additional <br /> 11-N funds, from the park dedication fund,with the understanding the money would be <br /> put back into the dedicated fund upon sale of the two lots. Approved.) <br /> 9. Donation From Earthkeepers <br /> (Rick put the donation into the Park Dedication Fund for beautification projects. <br /> Park Board thanked Earthkeepers for the donation.) <br />
