Also in attendance was Barry <br /> Bernstein and Sandie Wood) <br /> 2 . Approval of Minutes from May 5, 1997 <br /> (Minutes approved as written) <br /> 3 . Open Mike <br /> (Ray Macheledt and Pat Mahr presented a concept plan for <br /> Sunrise Park - Board is interested told them to gather all <br /> the necessary information and come back - No action taken) <br /> 4 . Rice Lake Estates Park - Update <br /> (George will talk to Marty about the gazebo and looped <br /> trail. Concerns about term of lease and insurance - Barry <br /> will research) <br /> 5 . Recreation Update <br /> A. Circle Pines (Barry said agreement is working very well, <br /> Lexington and Centerville may be looking to contract with <br /> the City of Lino Lakes) <br /> 6 . Park Update <br /> A. City Hall Park - Playground Construction <br /> (Playground has been raised - will add kids cubes to the <br /> west of new playground) <br /> 7 . Friends of the Park Update <br /> (Main concern now is golf event scheduled for 7/19/97 - They <br /> need more golfers) <br /> 8 . 1998 Budget <br /> (This was to inform board that staff is currently working on <br /> the budget. Will try to get playground equipment for a <br /> couple of parks - George asked members to think about <br /> whether it was necessary to have a goal setting session this <br /> fall because there is no money) <br />
