PARR BOARD MEETING <br /> September 5, 1990 <br /> Certificate of Indebtedness Fund. <br /> Within the proposed budget is a list outlining several <br /> different options regarding city park improvements. Marty <br /> asked the park board members to rate each option with #1 <br /> being top priority and #5 the last priority. The options and <br /> rating are as follows: <br /> Purchasing land in the south side 1 <br /> for a Community Park <br /> Birch Park, Shelter 3 <br /> Reshanau Lake Estates So. - Turf 3 <br /> City Hall Park - Archery Field 2 <br /> An archery range was rated high in the recently completed <br /> Opinion Survey. <br /> City Hall Park - Hockey Rink 2 <br /> Sunrise Park Development - Renovation 1 <br /> Lino Park - Well Rejuvenation 3 <br /> (not sure if this is possible yet) <br /> Lino Park - Ice Rink 3 <br /> Shenandoah Park - Install City Water 1 <br /> Shenandoah Park - Lighted Skating Rink Hold <br /> Reshanau Lake Estates So. - Outline Park 1 <br /> Five new parking lots are planned for Sunrise Park. <br /> John Bauman suggested adding one new parking lot per year in <br /> Sunrise Park to spread out the cost. The board members <br /> agreed. <br /> The board felt that park land acquisition should be given the <br /> highest priority. <br /> A report will be given to the park board members regarding <br /> the amount of money in park dedicated funds at the October <br /> park board meeting. <br /> Marty Asleson suggested that park dedication funds would best <br /> be used to purchase park land, and create and improve parks. <br /> The city council has to approve park dedication monies spent. <br /> Don Volk stressed that the proposed comprehensive park plan <br /> will help staff in preparing the yearly budget. <br /> PARR DEDICATION FORMAT - DISCUSSION, IDEAS <br /> Page 2 <br />
