PARR BOARD MEETING
September 5, 1990
Ary Gearman has been contacted and knows that this is being
considered.
At the next council meeting this will be discussed and the
council will be asked to approve the cooperative park. Don
Volk feels that the park board could sell those two lots for
$40, 000.
Marty Asleson talked about the cooperative park. He said
that this park will be enjoyable for both Circle Pines
Residents and Lino Lakes.
MINOR SUBDIVISION FOR CHUCK CAPE
This is for the creation of one lot on Woodland Drive,
located between Main Street and 35W.
Don Volk stated that there is problems with this subdivision.
There is a considerable amount of wetland on the site, and if
a new home is constructed on the created parcel the driveway
would have to literally go through a swamp.
Bob Williams suggested the park board wait to determine park
dedication until the board knows that this is a reality.
MINOR SUBDIVISION FOR EARL OLSON
This is a minor subdivision for the creation of three parcels
off Main Street across from city hall.
The board decided to wait to determine park dedication on
this site until next month. The board will be provided with
aerial photographs of the site, in order to let the board
decide what type of park dedication is preferred.
Don Volk said that he is uncertain of the future of this
site. The applicant owns 40 acres and is subdividing into
four ten acre parcels. A home is on one of the parcels
leaving three ten acre parcels eligible for park dedication.
OLD BUSINESS
John Bauman asked Marty and Don about clearing off area lakes
this winter for pleasure skating.
Marty stated that the machine used for this purpose has been
built. He felt that this will be completed at Country Lakes
and possibly other lakes.
Don Volk stated that the comprehensive park plan will be
addressed at the next city council meeting, along with other
park issues. He said that he would like to have members
attend this council meeting. A notice will be sent out to
park board members.
Page 6
