PARK BOARD MINUTES <br /> April 2, 1990 <br /> Chairman Ray Johnson called the regular meeting of the Lino <br /> Lakes Park Board to order at 7: 01 p. m. on February 5 , 1990 at <br /> the Lino Lakes City Hall . Members present were: <br /> Chairperson, Ray Johnson, Board Members John Bauman, Bob <br /> Williams , Ken Johnson, Bill Nissen and George Lindy. Also <br /> present were Public Works Director, Don Volk; Park <br /> Superintendent , Marty Asleson; and Planning Secretary, Laura <br /> Elken. <br /> CONSIDERATION OF MINUTES <br /> Bill Nissen moved to approve the March park board minutes as <br /> mailed. Bob Williams seconded the motion and the motion was <br /> approved. <br /> CONSIDERATION OF PARK DEDICATION FOR A MINOR SUBDIVISION ON <br /> PROPERTY OWNED BY MARLIN HANSEN. <br /> This is a parcel of land located at the end of Otter Lake <br /> Road near West Oaks Subdivision. <br /> Mr. Hansen is proposing the creation of one lot. <br /> This item has been pulled off the Design Review Board agenda <br /> pending Corp of Engineer' s review. <br /> MOTION: John Bauman moved to recommend to the city council <br /> acceptance of a $400. 00 park dedication for the Marlin Hansen <br /> property. Bob Williams seconded the motion and the motion <br /> was approved unanimously. <br /> REVIEW OF PROPOSED PARK DEDICATION FOR ACORN/MONTAIN <br /> PROPERTY. <br /> Mort Huber from Acorn Investments approached the board. <br /> The applicant did not supply the board with a written <br /> proposal . <br /> Cliff Thatcher, Acorn Investments met with Don Volk and <br /> discussed park dedication consisting of 4 lots in the south <br /> west section of the plat , and combined with the land, a cash <br /> dedication will be collected to complete the dedication <br /> requirement . <br /> The plat will be developed in phases . Phase 1 consists of 40 <br /> lots , and phase 2 consists of 107 , with a total of 147 lots . <br /> Development/grading of the park land will be completed once <br /> development of phase 2 begins . <br /> The 5+ acre parcel to be dedicated as park land is part of <br /> the Barrott property that Rick Carlson is proposing to <br /> develop. This plat was reviewed last month by the park <br /> board. <br /> Page 1 <br />
