PARK BOARD MEETING <br /> AUGUST 31, 1989 <br /> Chairman Ray Johnson called the regular meeting of the Lino <br /> Lakes Park Board to order at 7: 03 p. m. , Thursday, August 31, <br /> 1989 at the Lino Lakes City Hall. Members present were: <br /> Chairman Ray Johnson, Boardmembers Bill Nissen, John Bauman, <br /> George Lindy, and Candy Toffoli . Members Absent were: Ken <br /> Johnson and Bob Williams . Also present were: Councilmember <br /> Andy Neal ; Public Works Director, Don Volk; and Planning <br /> Secretary, Laura Elken. <br /> CONSIDERATION OF MINUTES <br /> Ray Johnson approved the July 31st park board minutes as <br /> presented. John Bauman seconded the motion and the motion <br /> was approved unanimously. <br /> CONSIDERATION OF PARK DEDICATION FOR RESHANAU PARK ESTATES. <br /> Gary Uhde' s Attorney along with city staff through research <br /> discovered that park dedication has been met for Reshanau <br /> Park Estates . Although, in their research they found that <br /> in the mid 1980 ' s Gary Uhde purchased 38 lots from Northern <br /> States Power Company. Park dedication never was collected <br /> for those 38 lots. <br /> After further discussion a motion was made. <br /> MOTION: George Lindy moved that the park board accept the <br /> decision that dedication has been met for Reshanau Park <br /> Estates . The park board feels that dedication for the former <br /> N. S. P. property has not been met . The park board asks that <br /> city council research this and acquire property or collect <br /> cash to be given for park dedication and that the city <br /> attorney review this prior to any decision. John Bauman <br /> seconded the motion and the motion was approved unanimously. <br /> PARK DEDICATION FOR A MINOR SUBDIVISION/JANET AND MIKE <br /> GIANOTTI. <br /> The Gianottis purchased a one acre single-family lot in <br /> Ulmer' s Rice Lake 3rd Addition. They were one of four buyers <br /> in that subdivision. The Gianottis wish to subdivide their <br /> property into four lots meeting all requirements for sewer <br /> available lot sizes. The Gianottis received planning and <br /> zoning approval at its August 9th meeting. <br /> Andy Neal stated that more of this type of subdividing will <br /> occur in the future. <br /> MOTION: Bill Nissen recommended that the park board ask for <br /> a cash park dedication for three lots at $400 . 00 per lot . <br /> George Lindy seconded the motion and the motion was approved <br /> unanimously. <br /> Page 1 <br />
