The estimated cost for this is $35 , 000. 00 . George
Lindy seconded the motion, and the motion was approved
unanimously.
MOTION:
Fay Johnson moved to recommend to City Council approval to
purchase two sets of aluminum bleachers . The estimated cost
for this is $7, 000. 00. John Bauman seconded the motion, and
the motion was approved unanimously.
Old Business
Ray Johnson asked Mr. Uhde about the trail system in Reshanau
Lake Estates South. Gary Uhde stated that the trail system
is going out for bids this week. He needed to clarify with
city staff the alignment of the trails. There are four
trails planned for this development . Park Board will review
the trails before construction is started. The park board
felt that more grading should be completed to raise the
height of the trails. Gary Uhde suggested keeping it low,
but installing culverts below the trails. He proposes to
have the trails completed by the end of July.
Rice Lake Estates Park Update/Tim Keenan
Tim Keenan asked the park board to move the dedicated park
land from Lots 1 and 2 of Block 2 to Lot 8, Block 2, closer
to Blue Heron Drive. This would put the park location south
of the present site, on the corner of Blue Heron Drive and
Sandpiper Drive.
Ray Johnson stated that the park board' s concern was that the
developer is already advertising that tennis courts are on
the site. He stated that residents moving in are wanting to
see those tennis courts, and Ray asked that he withdraw
that from his advertising.
s1 '
Tim Keenan stated that most lots in this plat are contract
