PARK BOARD MINUTES <br /> June 5, 1989 <br /> PRELIMINARY PLAT REVIEW OF PARKVIEW ESTATES/KEITH <br /> EBENSTEINER, APPLICATION *89-11 . <br /> Keith Eibensteiner purchased two tracts of land located <br /> immediately east of Sunrise Park . He wishes to subdivide <br /> them for single-family residential development. . <br /> Mr. Eibensteiner stated that 40 homes are planned for this <br /> plat . <br /> At the May 9th informational meeting it was discussed that a <br /> 15 foot walking trail would be installed between Lots 8 <br /> and 9 over the utility easement . <br /> The board also discussed screening of the first five lots <br /> from the softball fields at Sunrise Park . <br /> It was decided to accept a cash dedication and the board felt <br /> they could put the money in Sunrise Park. <br /> MOTION: John Bauman moved to accept a cash dedication of <br /> $400 . 00 per unit for Parkview Estates , Application *89-11 . <br /> adding that a 4 foot high fence be added along the west side <br /> of Parkview Estates on lots 1 thru 5 to screen the property <br /> from the softball fields . Bob Williams seconded the motion, <br /> and the motion was approved unanimously. <br /> ARBOR DAY UPDATE/ANDY NEAL <br /> Andy Neal stated that approximately 800 trees were sold, and <br /> Arbor day was successful . <br /> The VFW gave the city a new American Flag, and along with the <br /> cities new Welcome Flag and Tree City USA Flag, city hall <br /> shined. <br /> Tree City USA states that an annual Arbor Day Proclamation is <br /> required. <br /> The Park Board will have a year to think about what they <br /> would like to do next year for Arbor Day. <br /> GREATER CENTENNIAL AREA RECREATION PROGRAM UPDATE/DON VOLK <br /> The Centennial School District ' s Attorney is still working <br /> with the program. <br /> There will soon be a meeting with the task force, but this <br /> program is at a stand still at this time . <br /> SUNRISE PARK - UTILITIES/DON VOLK <br /> The utility path has been rerouted to pass through Parkview <br /> Estates and then enter into Sunrise Park from a walkway <br /> Page 2 <br />
