PARK BOARD MINUTES <br /> JANUARY 4, 1989 <br /> The regular meeting of the Lino Lakes Park Board was called <br /> to order at 7: 02 p.m. , by Chairman Ray Johnson, Wednesday, <br /> January 4, 1989, at the Lino Lakes City Hall . Members <br /> present : Chairman Ray Johnson, Members Ken Johnson, Bob <br /> Williams, George Lindy, and Candy Toffoli. <br /> Members Absent : Bill Nissen, John Bauman <br /> Also present were: Councilmember Harold Bisel, Public Works <br /> Director, Don Volk; and Secretary Laura Elken. At 8: 45 p.m. <br /> Mayor Ben Benson, and Councilmember Vern Reinert joined the <br /> meeting. <br /> APPOINTING OF CHAIRPERSON AND CO-CHAIRPERSON FOR 1989 <br /> CHAIRPERSON <br /> Bob Williams moved to recommend nominating Ray Johnson for <br /> Chairman. George Lindy seconded the motion. Motion was <br /> approved unanimously. <br /> Ray Johnson remains the Lino Lakes Park Board Chairperson. <br /> CO-CHAIRPERSON <br /> Ray Johnson moved to appoint Bob Williams as Co-Chairperson. <br /> Ken Johnson seconded the motion. Motion was approved <br /> unanimously. <br /> Bob Williams is the newly appointed Co-Chairperson. <br /> CONSIDERATION OF MINUTES <br /> Chairperson Ray Johnson moved to approve the park board <br /> minutes as written. <br /> SUBDIVISION ORDINANCE AMENDMENT TO REQUIRE TRAILS <br /> Recently the park board has had some concern about improving <br /> the procedures used to determine park dedications. Some of <br /> this concern has been with trails especially when questions <br /> were asked about ordinance requirements. <br /> Public Works Director, Don Volk; City Administrator, Randy <br /> Schumacher; and City Planner, John Miller discussed this and <br /> John Miller agreed to prepare a subdivision ordinance <br /> amendment that would: <br /> 1. Define trails, both as pedestrian and bicycle <br /> ways. <br /> 1 <br />
