PARK BOARD MINUTES October 3, 1988
He and his Mother were visiting relatives in Norway when a
car struck his bike.
Knute was 12. His parents Baard and Karen live on Jodrell
Street in Columbis Township. He was a very well liked boy,
involved in cub scouts , soccar, T-Ball , Karate, and
Basketball. He would have entered the 5th grade this year.
Harold Bisel suggested we should stay away from name-sake
parks, although the Park Board could name a ballfield after
him. For example, the Wildwood Estates Park has only one
ballfield planned. We could name that Knute field.
This item is tabled until the Park Board meets in November
and we are able to gather facts regarding the procedure in
naming a ballfield.
Meeting was adjourned at 9: 08 p.m.
r1,
-Page 6
