PARK BOARD MEETING AUGUST 8, 1988 <br /> The regular meeting of the Lino Lakes Park Board was called <br /> to order at 7: 00 p.m. , by Chairman Ray Johnson, Monday <br /> August 8, 1988 at the Lino Lakes City Hall . Members <br /> present : Chairman Ray Johnson, Candy Toffoli , Bob Williams, <br /> John Bauman, Bill Nissen and Ken Johnson. Also present <br /> were: City Administrator - Randy Schumacher, Secretary - <br /> Connie Husby. <br /> Members not present: George Lindy <br /> CONSIDERATION OF MINUTES: Chairman Ray Johnson approved the <br /> minutes as written. <br /> SECTION 31 - PROPOSED SUBDIVISION - PARK DEDICATION - RICH <br /> CARLSON: <br /> Rich brought his proposed plat located at County Road J and <br /> Hodgson Raod. He wants to produce executive single-family <br /> residential homes . The Park Board told Mr. Carlson they <br /> were looking for buildable land for ballfields . Mr. Carlson <br /> will bring something back for the Park Board to consider. <br /> RICE LAKE ESTATES PARK - ARV GEARMAN: <br /> The City Engineer - Ron Stahlberg recommended to the City <br /> Council denial of the double tennis courts . <br /> After discussion a motion was made. <br /> MOTION: Ken Johnson accepted item *12 in the Rice Lake <br /> Estates PUD - Lot 1 and Lot 2 of Block 2 shall be granted to <br /> the city for park purposes . Payment of $40, 000. 00 shall be <br /> made to the city for park development of lots 1 and 2 and <br /> adjacent property. Bob Williams seconded the motion and the <br /> motion was carried unanimously. <br /> JEFF JOYER - PARK DEDICATION FOR TWILIGHT ACRES III . : <br /> Jeff has four buildable lots . The others will be developed <br /> when sewer and water come in . <br /> '-"" MOTION: Bill Nissen recommended to council to accept a park <br /> dedication of $400. 00 per building site for Twilight Acres <br /> III . Park dedication fees for the remaining lots will be <br /> page 1 <br />
