1 <br /> PARK BOARD MEETING AUGUST 8, 1988 <br /> due upon completion of utility extension and shall be in the <br /> amount of the park dedication fee in effect at that time. <br /> John Bauman seconded the motion and the motion was carried <br /> unanimously. <br /> GARY UHDE - FINAL PARK PLAN: <br /> Chairman Ray Johnson tabled this item due to Gary Uhde not <br /> being present because of family emergency. <br /> OLD BUSINESS : The Park Board discussed the Irrigation <br /> System being put in at Sunrise Park. They agreed this would <br /> be feasible to have done out of the Parks capital <br /> improvements $8, 000 . 00 . <br /> Bill Nissen recommended that in Country Lakes Park a sign be <br /> installed displaying symbols stating what ' s available in the <br /> park. <br /> MOTION: Nissen recommends that the City incorporate 5 <br /> symbols on the board that is already displayed at Country <br /> Lakes Park. They should be: <br /> 1 . Picnic Table <br /> 2. Fishing Pear <br /> 3 . Walking <br /> 4. Beach <br /> 5 . Walk-in boat landing <br /> Bob Bauman seconded the motion and the motion was carried <br /> unanimously. <br /> Also, the Park Board wants a No Parking sign installed where <br /> the people walk at the park. <br /> NEW BUSINESS: The Park Board would like Mike Hoffman our <br /> City Forester to look into our parks and report whether <br /> there is disease in our trees . Also the secretary is to ask <br /> Mike Hoffman about his recommendations regarding a Tree <br /> Board.
