PARKBOARD MEETING JULY 6, 1988 <br /> OLD BUSINESS : <br /> Ary Gearman - update on Park Dedication - Rice Lake Estates: <br /> Randy Schumacher addressed this issue. The land for this <br /> dedication is all undevelopable ( low land) that Ary is <br /> proposing for a ballfield. The parking lot he is proposing <br /> is now a platted lot . Ary would like to bring fill in for <br /> proper drainage. Randy asked if this all was sufficient <br /> park area. <br /> Chairman Johnson would accept this proposal if enough fill <br /> were brought in to make the proposed land a buildable park <br /> and if there is any peet it would also have to be removed. <br /> The parking area proposed should be a complete bituminous <br /> surface or gravel . Chairman Johnson also wants a tot lot in <br /> the area ( in the corner of the proposed park) . <br /> After discussion regarding what Chairman Johnson wanted <br /> another suggestion was made for a double tennis court <br /> instead of softball fields . People living in the area and <br /> people moving into the area are 2nd and 3rd time homeowners . <br /> Chairman Johnson suggested a poll be taken: <br /> Candy Toffoli - Tennis Courts <br /> Ken Johnson - " " <br /> George Lindy " " <br /> Ray Johnson <br /> John Bauman " " possibly ballfields <br /> later <br /> With this poll it was understood that Ary Gearman <br /> (developer) would have to put everything in. <br /> The Park Board would like: <br /> * Play area (tot lot ) with fence <br /> * Double tennis courts - on good base <br /> (needs fill for these) <br /> * Parking lot completed on Lot 1 <br /> (Bituminous surface or gravel ) <br /> * Positive drainage in area <br /> CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT - 1988: $8, 000. 00 in fund <br /> PAGE 2 <br />
